I love Christmas in every aspect of the way. Ok, maybe not in every way. The cleaning, the staying up late wrapping presents, the anxious kids you get the idea, those things I can do without.
I do love all the events around the Holidays. The lights, the music, the holiday spirit in the air, unless of course, you are on the 405 freeway, any freeway for that matter. There's just something about the holidays that warms my heart, maybe it could be the fact that we see friends and family more during this time.
I was excited to see that the Amaze Light Festival was at Silverlake, Norco. I think sometimes I get more excited than the kids about these events. After reading about it and checking out their website I knew I had to attend.
The lights looked amazing hence the name Amaze in the title.

When we pulled up, as I said, I think I was more excited than the kids. I remember saying look, look at the lights ahead. Look how beautiful this is going to be and so much fun.
We had the VIP experience, which was great. We got there early. I love the fact that the VIP was a sperate area where we could go for some downtime. Though as the night went on it got a little more crowded and didn't help us with our breaks. At this time though we were pretty much through everything and ready to leave.
The VIP lounge offered Food, and drinks (for a price), private area, heaters, and games.
Everywhere you turned lights and lights and lights. So many photo ops. Holiday music playing all throughout. The brights colors, the twinkling lights, and the holiday songs, if this doesn't put you in the holiday spirit not sure what would.
We walked around and around several times and each time it seemed like we missed something the first time around. Snow flurries in the air and of course Santa, plus there's ice skating and food trucks to order from.
It's a magical experience no doubt. If my time allowed it I would definitely go back, it was a great experience.
